The Needle-eye Boy

The Needle-eye Boy is a coming of age story for readers over 12, charting a boy’s realisations about life, love, fighting and pig muck as he struggles to stay alive, escape slavery and find a way home through a world he didn’t even know existed.

I have read extracts of the story for profwriting.com’s New Talent Showcase at Port Eliot Literary Festival in 2009 & 2010 and at Telltales, Cornwall’s bi-monthly night for readers, writers and listeners, as part of Volume XXIII ‘Elements’ in Jan 2011.
